David Sandberg

Founder, Chief Investment Officer 


Prior to founding Red Oak in 2003, co-managed private equity firm JH Whitney’s $300 million Green River hedge fund until 2002, has been investing in small capitalization companies since 1996. Serves as the Chairman of the Board of CBA Florida, Inc.


Graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Industrial Management and a BA in Economics in 1994.



Anthony Snow

President and Director of Research


Anthony Snow oversees research for Red Oak Partners. Prior to joining Red Oak, Mr. Snow worked at Soros Fund Management where he was part of a two person team that managed a $250 million global long/short equity portfolio. Prior to Soros, Mr. Snow also focused on investments in global equities at both Ardea Capital Management, as part of the founding team, and Wyper Capital Management. Previously, Mr. Snow was employed at Lindsay Goldberg, a private equity firm, where he was an Associate focused on leveraged buyouts. Mr. Snow began his career at Merrill Lynch & Co. as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group.

He received a B.B.A. with high distinction from the University of Michigan, concentrating in finance and accounting, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. 

Adrian Pertierra

Chief Financial Officer/Head of Trading


Adrian Pertierra is Chief Financial Officer and Head of Trading for Red Oak Partners. Since December 2007, he has also been the CFO/Head of Trading for the Red Oak Fund, L.P. Prior to joining Red Oak, Mr. Pertierra served as Vice President of Global Markets at Deutsche Bank Alternative Trading, which specialized in investing in several major world markets using various quantitative strategies. Prior to Deutsche Bank, he was a trader on the risk arbitrage desk at Tradition Asiel Securities, Inc. from 2006 to 2007, where he specialized in analyzing and trading the capital structure of companies that were involved in mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Pertierra served as the Vice President of Institutional Equity Sales and Trading at BGC Partners, LP from 2002 to 2006. He worked at A.B. Watley, Inc. from 1997 to 2002: he was the Manager of the Finance and Accounting department from 1997 to 1999, and from 1999 to 2002 he was an Associate Vice President in the Institutional Equity Sales Trading division.

Mr. Pertierra graduated from College of the Holy Cross with a bachelor’s degree in economics.


Jorge Fermin

Analyst 


Jorge Fermin is an analyst on the research team for Red Oak Partners, LLC. Prior to joining Red Oak, Mr. Fermin was a research associate for the Discovery Group at B. Riley Financial. Previously, Mr. Fermin also worked as an analyst for Payless, Inc. 


Jorge received his B.S.B.A from the University of Missouri, with a concentration in finance, and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina.
